Corrections, disputes, and removals

The Greater Hartford Assisted Living Facility Guide draws listing information from public business records and scores every facility using a single, fixed rubric applied uniformly to Google reviews. Your listing is free to display, and no payment affects your score or rank. This page explains what you can change, what you cannot, and how removals work. Fixing factual details

Your name, address, phone number, website, hours, and services list come from public data. If any factual field is wrong, send us the correct information along with proof: your website, your Google Business Profile, or another source that confirms it. Once verified and corrected, the change stays in place even when we refresh our data.

Disputing your score

Scores are not edited by hand. A dispute means you believe the input data itself is faulty, for example your listing was matched to the wrong business, reviews were attributed to you incorrectly, or a summary misrepresents what reviewers wrote. When you dispute, we re-check the sources and rebuild your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number.

Requesting removal

Listings are removed if your business is permanently closed, if the entry is a duplicate, or if it falls outside the scope of assisted living facilities in Greater Hartford. A listing that is accurate and in scope may be declined removal, and we explain why. Our monthly verification process automatically removes closed businesses as well.

How fast we respond

All requests receive acknowledgment within 5 business days. Confirmed removals are completed within 7 days. Declined requests include the reason.
